FCJ's The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Review, a film that makes me glad Peter Jackson's time with Middle Earth is finally over.
I didn't think the film was bad at all. Sure it was hardly the lord of the rings but it entertained and it finished the story. albeit left some things unfinished but it is enjoyable. I would give it 6.5 out of 10.
That would be around my score as well. The weakest of the Hobbit trilogy but still a very fun ride all its own.
saying that it is the "weakest" is not saying much since the prior 2 movies weren't that good to begin with either.
Wow. Is it that bad? I watched the original Lord of the Rings and loved them, got half an hour into the first Hobbit film and got bored, but to be fair I started watching it after a long day at work and haven't really bothered to go back to it. Maybe I'm better off that way...
as a big lotr fan i too felt that the 1st hobbit movie was quite boring. However i found the 2nd movie to be much more entertaining and have that lotr feel the original trilogy had
I'll have to give it another go over christmas, all that free time isnt going to waste itself!
3 out of 10 is a bit too low inmo, it was easily better than Desolation of Smaug, because that film did barely anything right at all, while Battle of Five Armies still worked on many different levels.
