Find Out Superman’s Situation In Batman v Superman

BAD

I've told you a bunch about Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*, but not much about Superman. I don't want to give you the impression that this is Batman's movie - it's very much a sequel to Man of Steel, and it very much follows up on stuff from that movie in big ways. Clark's probably in counseling after Man of Steel. Uugh.

It's funny because everybody was complaining that Superman Returns wasn't violent enough, and now they want the squeaky clean version. MoS may have been more blatant than most, but it's hardly the first movie to exploit violence with no regard to collateral damage.

SPOILER

Hell, in the new Hobbit movie one of the characters is providing comic relief while dead children are floating in a lake.

people didn't ask for more violence in the sense of Superman killing someone, people only wanted more action not blood and gore.

Just because they asked for more action/violence, doesn't mean they asked for Superman to snap a neck in the very first movie, show little regard for human life, and be completely uninteresting.

Didn't he kill Zod in the comics as well? I'm pretty sure this wasn't something they made themselves but something borrowed from the source material. Either way he wasnt leaving him much choice.
