Flickering Myth: I would love to see Spider-Man appear in the MCU at some point but personally I would leave it for a bit. If they can get a cameo in Civil War then great, but I don’t want the MCU to become solely focused around Spider-Man which I fear it would become. Marvel started off without Spider-Man and have built one of the most successful brands in Hollywood – they should really let him go for the time being.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Spider-Man is most definitely in the top 3 most popular superheroes still. It's just the last two films weren't that good.
I also don't think Spider-Man is overused. Had the films been good, you would not think that. For some reason, the author thinks that Marvel Studios Spider-Man films would be bad just cause Sony made bad films, therefore they should give up. That's silly.
Not to mention, fans have been begging for an MCU Spider-Man since it's inception. So no, they should not stop pursuing and they won't.
Come on Sony do the right thing. Do it for the fans. I want to see Spidey in other movies too.
They should never stop pursuing such a high-value asset as him. Spiderman is one of the most popular superheroes out there. And just because Sony fumbled in hiring incompetent screenwriters for the ASM reboot series doesn't mean Marvel would do the same.
It won't change a thing. It's not that important as it seems.
They shouldn't give up on him. Diversity it's good.
