Don't know if anyone's the "Perfect Joker," but for some reason Leto reminds me a bit of Ledger's dark cynicism and unpredictability. It all hinges on the direction they give this Joker, of course, but physically and acting wise, Leto's one heck of an ideal pick.
I believe Jake Gyllenhaal would have been a great pick too.
