I'll watch it but I know hollywood will put their own twist in it and not go by the true story. I believe everything that is said in the Bible.

"The Bible" is a collection of creation myths, allegories and fables from ancient civilizations. Almost all major religions have a flood story as well as god or gods descending from heaven. The Bible was put together by a council well after Jesus had died. Stories told directly to the council about Jesus were left out because it didn't jive with their idea for a book that would control the masses. My point is that no ones knows for sure and this is one interpretation of the myth.

The Bible is like a guide to me. It guides you through life but knowing God is more than reading the Bible. It's on another personnel level.

Flood stories are common in river based societies. These ancient cultures quite often claimed the earth to be flat.

However, in mountainous societies we see a marked difference. And, in these ancient cultures we find they see the world as round or rounded (such as it is in ancient Greece, Norway, and North America.)

But you are correct that the bible is a collection of myths from earlier cultures.

One need but read Gilgamesh to figure this out.

All I wanna know is whether or not Christian Bale's gonna get to throw down the Ten Commandments and scream at the Israelites and their Golden Calf in the end credits.
