Let’s get the right director for the movie. Find the right voice that works for the films being made. Saying that only black directors should direct Black Panther and that only a woman should direct Wonder Woman is actually the very definition of racism and sexism. It’s assigning labels based on specific criteria. Rather than looking for the best candidate, you are basically asserting that the only appropriate choice is one based on race and gender.
Sigh again.
Let’s find more diverse voices in film, but let’s not turn these movies into some kind of pointless litmus test for just how poisoned we’ve all become by political correctness. Find the right talent. Black, White, Male, Female… whomever. Just don’t limit your choices based on a ridiculously limited criteria.

Those hoping for another Wonder Woman film will be sad to learn that the third instalment is only in early development at this stage. Actress Gal Gadot recently revealed that Wonder Woman 3 is still a few years away.
That's not necessarily racist or sexist. That's just some people's preference of director for those specific films. That's like saying it is racist that it is a rule a white guy can't be the head of an African-American club. It's not, it just doesn't really make sense for it to happen. And I'm not saying that the directors of these films have to be black or female, it would just be cool that the very first HUGE blockbuster superhero films starring a black guy and a female would be headed by black and female directors.
