The former team was made up of hostess Caroline, Elena, Tyler, Jo, Liam, Liv and Luke; while the latter featured the Salvatore brothers, Stefan and Damon, and Alaric. As tends to be the case with a lot of real-life family gatherings- or family-adjacent, as was the case with some of these particular characters- this Thanksgiving was heavy on the drama. But then again, drama is par for the course on this show."
