EB guest author Ben Sarro writes: "Having been given the opportunity to watch and review 2014’s sci-fi/ horror film Extraterrestrial, written and directed by the Vicious Brothers, I still haven’t decided if the “horror” description is for the genre or for the feeling viewers will get attempting to sit through yet another cliché-filled film. Whether intentional or not, this movie is packed with overplayed characters, plots, and alien stereotypes. Even if the film goes for a “so bad, it’s funny” setup, we’ve seen this before. (Sharknado anyone?) If it’s possible to combine movies, just imagine Independence Day screws Cabin Fever and they have a little deformed baby film and name it Extraterrestrial. Then that movie screws you."
