We can’t say all of the examples in that article had stellar careers, but they mostly found limited amounts of success. In fact, some – Cung Le, Gina Carano, Randy Couture, and Ronda Rousey, for example – have actually made careers for themselves on the big screen. And if you count Dave Batista, who did have a single professional MMA fight, you’ve got a breakout star in the Marvel Universe.
