It’s official: the Twin Peaks revival is imminent. The most enigmatic show on television went out with a fanbase in shock and outrage as beloved eccentric Dale Cooper was revealed to be possessed by demon BOB after a wonky chase through the otherworldly Black Lodge some twenty-two years ago. What happened next? Thanks to David Lynch and a new deal with Showtime, we can finally find out.
Cooking Up Murder: Uncovering the Story of César Román Review: The documentary investigates the mysterious murder case of Heydi Paz and her convicted chef boyfriend.
Mother of the Bride Review: The rom-com follows soon-to-be wedded couple, RJ & Emma and the chaos that ensues when their former lover parents come across.
Dark Matter Review: Although some of its runtime might be quite dense, there are moments in this sci-fi series that leaves you at the edge of your seat.
"10. Will BOB Be Exorcised?"
Was Dale really possessed though, I thought the real Dale was still trapped in the lodge and it was Dales doppelgänger who escaped
Leland was possessed by Bob as he didn't enter the Black Lodge but Dale came face to face with his own evil doppelgänger
Hawk says about the Black Lodge
"the shadow-self of the White Lodge. The legend says that every spirit must pass through there on the way to perfection. There, you will meet your own shadow self. My people call it 'The Dweller on the Threshold' ... But it is said, if you confront the Black Lodge with imperfect courage, it will utterly annihilate your soul"
Shadow Self must be Evil Dale and since the real Dale didn't enter with imperfect Courage, since he tried to run away from it, it consumed him
Now whether or not the evil Dale took over the real Dales body or it kept the real Dale inside the lodge who knows but at the end of Fire Walk With Me when Laura "moves on" Dale is with her and I'm pretty sure this is set after he tried to run out of the Lodge.
I'm sure everything will be answered in due time.
really REALLY hyped for the new season. so much questions!
Twin peaks is easily one of my top 5 series ever.
