This was probably the most surprising film announced in the line up as the Suicide Squad is made up of villains who form a covert operative team in order to lessen their criminal sentences. Having villainous characters as the focus is certainly a risk, but it will surely be a lot of fun. However, having this property so early on in the franchise will have a few fans confused
MAI Review (2024): Phuong Anh Dao and Tran Thanh sparkle the brighest in this overdramatic movie.
One of 2023's biggest and dumbest creature features is making waves right now on streaming around the world.
"If you are already a fan of this franchise, this is a very good option this weekend at the cinema. It's well made, the actors are great and the story/world setting is very interesting." - Bryan (Resident Entertainment)
I don't think it is for two reasons
1 It's a nice little twist, explaining the odd side of comics. It won't be your standard hero saves the day film.
2 DC has made a living off side stories like this up till now. They already made these niche films and they did well, so just because WB is expanding the core doesn't mean this will change.
