THR:
Producer Ed Pressman described the cult thriller as the "anti Spider-Man"
Producer Ed Pressman (Wall Street, American Psycho) has revealed that The Crow remake’s long and bumpy road could finally be reaching an end, with production targeted to start next year.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter on the Abu Dhabi Film Festival's opening night, Pressman — who was also behind the 1994 original — said that he hoped production on the reboot of the cult horror would begin “in the spring."
Pressman, who was in Abu Dhabi to attend the International Showbiz Expo and also to collect a lifetime achievement award from the festival, described The Crow as “the anti-Spider-Man.”
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I hope they take their time and do it well. I loved the original and don't know if they could do it justice. The person they pick to play Eric will be the most important part.
there should never be a remake of this classic.
you dont repaint the mona lisa.
They shouldn't do it at all.... Brandon Lee died making that original movie... it's dishonourable.
