Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment will co-finance and take world rights to Go With Me, a Daniel Alfredson-directed adaptation of the Castle Freeman Jr novel. The film will star Anthony Hopkins. Pic will be sold at AFM. Joe Gangemi and Gregory Jacobs wrote the script, and Rick Dugdale will produce with Lindsay Williams, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Gregory Jacobs. Hopkins also will be a producer. It’s a modern fable set in the Pacific Northwest logging community. A young woman returns to her hometown and is harassed by an ex-cop-turned-violent crime lord who runs the town. She enlists an ex-logger (Hopkins) and his sidekick to stand up to him. Alfredson helmed the Millennium Trilogy from Stieg Larsson.
