‘Fury’ Review | Entertainment Buddha

There are a handful of World War II films and TV series that stand out as being brutally epic reproductions of the horrific events that took place during the Allies’ costly run to victory back in the 1940’s, and now Fury should be included among them. Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, and The Pacific are three of the best WWII film projects on the planet, not because of their famous stars and creators, but rather because they focus on the human side of war and the unbreakable bonds that are formed amongst servicemen while under the extreme stresses of combat. Fury follows this same formula by telling the tale of a Sherman tank crew led by Brad Pitt’s Don “Wardaddy” Collier, who along with his four crew members must forge into Nazi controlled Germany during the last few months of the war using an underpowered tank named Fury, which is no match for the overpowered Nazi tanks.

Completely blown away by how great this movie ended up being. Who knew Shia was even in it, and he can still act. Too bad he's gone off the deep end in real life.
