TVLine:
The doctor is in, and she’s hot for Detective Gordon!
Homeland‘s Morena Baccarin is joining Gotham in the iconic DC Comics role of Dr. Leslie Thompkins, TVLine has learned.
Thompkins is a gifted and dedicated physician who was a friend of the late Thomas and Martha Wayne. She is determined to use her skills to aid Gotham’s most in need, which currently means working at the newly opened Arkham Asylum’s Home for the Criminally Insane.
In addition to her medical skills, her coolness under pressure will serve her well as she finds herself drawn to Ben McKenzie’s James Gordon and into more and more dangerous waters.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
That will be interesting.
She'd have made for an excellent Talia Al Ghul imo. I know Gotham being a prequel and all, but if theres any role suited to her, its Talia.
Arrow should get her casted asap.
FOX just can't stop going to the well with the show cast they booted, hah. Guess she's the right age for the role, given Bruce's likely to take up the cowl 15-20 yrs. later, but I'd have pictured Jane Seymour if they cast a Batman-era Leslie. Then again, I'm just thinking of Dr. Quinn.
If we're talking Firefly cast members and prequel era Batman characters, I'd go with Jewel Saite. Then, I'm just thinking of StarGate Atlantis. Dang. Can't stop thinking of my fav sci-fi shows that got canned. *sniff*
I'm missing Firefly for sure.
