Aquaman is a bad idea. Hey Aquaman, I am going to rob this bank ON LAND! Bwahahahaha! Your stupid "powers" can't stop me.

Aquaman: Curses, foiled again!

In the new comics he is much "cooler" than that Aquaman you are thinking of.

If I'm not mistaken he is capable of controlling water in pipes and can create storms now, which is rather epic.

How about coming out from that pre 1960's Aquaman mentality and try actually reading some recent comics, hmm?

gustave1543476d ago

He's much more powerful now. Hes not like 1960s batman -_-

Soldierone3476d ago

The only one I'm surprised didn't make it was Teen Titans. Other than that, it's either movies that may come in the future, but are not something you boot a franchise with.

They needed to go with icons, and that's what they did.

RetrospectRealm3475d ago

TNT is looking to make Teen Titans a series.

Soldierone3475d ago

Sadly WB/DC already stated the TV universe and the movie universe are not the same. :/

So even if they do, it wouldn't be as big as getting a movie.

RetrospectRealm3475d ago

So? I'm almost positive they wouldn't be making a TV and a movie with the same heroes but a different cast. Too confusing to the general audience.

They can do it with Flash cause that's one hero, Teen Titan is a whole team.

Soldierone3475d ago (Edited 3475d ago )

They are making more than Flash. Green Arrow is a new character too.

Plus they are still trying to get WW going somewhere, and you also have Gotham which has absolutely nothing to do with Batman movies.

I'm sure CW will try to grab more heroes next TV season, and other networks will try as well.

Metal Men could have been quite decent if it was modernised. Imagine a team of Iron Men fighting crime.

Teen Titans would work better as a TV series.

Would love a Justice League Dark film, although we could just end up seeing the team-up in Constantine.

gustave1543476d ago

I rather see Vertigo Constantine rather than the DC version. Even though JLD is awesome.

ironfist923475d ago

Whats the difference between the DC and Vertigo characters? Thought he was one in the same?
