The Playlist:
If there needs to be any more proof that television has become an auteurist paradise, one need to look no further than Cinemax’s “The Knick.” It marks some of the most electrifying work director Steven Soderbergh, who has helmed all ten episodes, has done in years. It’s bold storytelling, executed with technical virtuosity and creative flair, and it’s simply some of the best storytelling in any medium you’ll see all year. But the show lives or dies on the shoulders of Clive Owen, but not only is he up to the challenge, he delivers the best performance of his career in the series.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
Brigands: The Quest For Gold Review: The Italian drama follows a group of brigands, embarking on a journey to reclaim power and some hidden gold.
I like Clive Owen but I haven't seen this show and I don't really know anything about it. I do appreciate his acting in movies though.
