The Film Class Junkies review 47 Ronin, a movie that fails because of its lack of vision, but is not as bad as some would suggest.
I didn't think it was all that bad. It needed to tell the story about the 47 and they did and probably left a lot out and put a lot of fiction in. The fighting was pretty good and I knew it wasn't going to be a big hit but I would watch it again.
Yeah, I would put it down as aggressively average. It has some truly cool elements—the final fight, the ending, some beautiful visuals—it just feels like a movie mired by 'behind the scenes' controversy.
