Movie Pilot: "At this point, Marvel Studios is an unstoppable force! Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galaxy continue to march on as a global pop culture phenomenon. I like to think so

However I always felt the X-Men were big enough to have their own universe. I mean think about the Marvel films and Spiderman, if Spiderman joined Marvels universe it would be a nice new addition but the X-Men, all of them, I don't know about you but to me it seems like it would get pretty crowded

Maybe that's because the Marvel universe they've built up has been built around the fact Mutants don't exist in that world since they don't have the rights. I'm sure if they started from the beginning with the X-Men they might make it work.

I just usually watch the X-Men films though and think to myself "How the hell would they fit all these characters, villains and stories into the Marvel universe without them clashing with one another". Spiderman and even the Fantastic Four would work but X-Men...I'm not sure.

I feel like X-Men is alright on their own, and Marvel Studios is A-Ok on their own, but Spider-Man just doesn't feel too good after Garfield and Webb took over. Just doesn't feel like that's the best possible.

Garfield is horrible, I don't get why people like him, maybe it's because after Emo Peter with Toby people accepted anything with the new one.

He just seems more like Flash Thompson, the schools bully, not Peter.

I think the only thing I like about him is he actually has wit and sarcastic lines and he has the smarts, building the web cartridges for example. However the witty dialogue wasn't really Toby's fault since it's how the film was written.

By all means don't think I'm saying Toby was any better but at least at the start he looked like the schools outcast...the typical nerdy highschool kid. Garfield looks like a bloody model, even with the glasses and that.

I know the old trilogy relied a lot on CGI but the new ones overdo it.

I would like Marvel to have them back but not having them puts pressure on Marvel to be creative with the characters they do have. Good things come under pressure like diamonds.

With Singer back at the helm, looks like X-Men's in fine hands again. Spider-man? Eh, Marvel might need to polish that...a bit.
