Earlier this week it was confirmed that Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock will star as the sometimes-villainous Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam movie from DC/Warner Bros. Johnson seems pretty excited at nabbing a role he’s been after for many years, tweeting “A complex psychology, motivated by bad ass dominance with a devilish charm. This'll be fun.” While there’s no doubt Johnson can pull off pretty much any bad ass character with gusto, I can’t help but feel that he was miscast. Johnson would have been the perfect person to play the hero Shazam.
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
