VRFocus - July 2014′s San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) contained a few surprises for virtual reality (VR) enthusiasts, including a new experience for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) based on Guillermo Del Toro’s popular blockbuster movie, Pacific Rim. The title created a lot of buzz at the time, with Del Toro himself commenting on his excitement for VR and even the possibility of further integration between the franchise and technology. Now that same experience has been revealed for Samsung’s newly-announced Gear VR HMD.
The Pacific Rim Blu-Ray is currently on sale at $4.99 while the Pacific Rim Uprising Blu-Ray +DVD +Digital Set is available at $10.59.
Amazon has discounted several 4K Ultra HD movies to under $10, including Expendables 3, Goodfellas, Pacific Rim, Power Rangers, Resident Evil: Vendetta, Sicario and more.
Pacific Rim Uprising is a lazily written follow up to the 2013 Gundam homage Pacific Rim. While in may deliver in the special effect/building destruction department, the hollow story is devoid of any relatable characters.
Scarlet Witch was played by Elizabeth Olson, unless you're referring to a different Scarlet Witch.
Also Charlie Day kind of annoyed me in the 1st film. I wasn't expecting to like him in the sequel anyways.
