Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
It is weird. With The Hunger games, Divergent, and even Lucy finding success you'd think DC or Marvel would fast track a flick. Kinda hoping it isn't Black Widow though. Use an actual superheroine, no spies! Ms. Marvel or Spider-Woman are perfect! Gal's already signed on for a solo WW movie, but i doubt we'll get that soon either.
...She just made Lucy, that's about as close as it gets to being a female superhero movie without being...a female superhero movie. I really don't care to see a Black Widow movie, nor do I want to see a Hawkeye or Nick Fury film. Hell, you can even take Captain America, 'Mr. Nobody's favorite superhero' himself.
A Shield movie (Fury, Widow, and Hawkeye) doesn't sound that great, so a Widow movie alone isn't appealing to me. I do think Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and other women can lead cool movies though.
I would say only having black guys as sidekicks or crappy mentors and nothing more (War Machine, Falcon, Idris Elba, Fury) or no non-white superhero leads (not counting aliens) is a bigger problem. I believe Black Panther is only a rumor at the moment. I'd much rather see that than freaking Ant-Man.
