The Steve Carell mob comedy Our Thing is moving forward at Warner Bros., with the studio bringing on writer Jeff Lock to pen the latest draft.
Jake Johnson (Let's Be Cops) is attached to star opposite Carell, with Max Winkler directing.
The project is based on an original idea from Johnson and Winkler that they sold to Warners as a pitch. Rodney Rothman, who is producing, wrote the previous draft and enlisted Lock to take the reins.
