JamesBondRadio: So, we’ve had word directly from the casting agency working on Bond 24 that there will be a classic villainous henchman in Bond 24…
” We are looking to follow in the tradition of JAWS and ODDJOB in finding an iconic baddy.
Shouldn't that mindset be for every villain they do...
So even Bond 24 will have a generic bad guy? Seems nice... shows the "growth" of the franchise quite nicely.
007 vilans need to be memorable i barely remember the ones that were in the previous 4-5 films.
Silva was a pretty good villain. That's the most recent one too.
Casino Royale didn't have a VILLAIN per se, however, Le Chiffre was a GREAT antagonist. Silva from Skyfall was a Legitimate Bond Villain.
I fully agree, that's why I said that it seems like another generic bad guy...
i get your point but bulky bad guys arent so common in 007 films for quite some time if you look into it.
They need this if the idea is to show Bond going from the one they've been portraying to the one we know and love. Im actually quite interested to see what a classic Bond baddie could be in today's world. :)
Silva was an old style bond in a modern bond. I loved Skyfall the previous two not so much felt them to be kinda boring but Skyfall felt like a modern classic.
