This newest rendition of the iconic shell-shocking series, directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay, isn’t the first time this classic 1980’s franchise has been brought to the silver screen, but it certainly is the most eye-catching attempt thanks to the wonders of modern CGI. But does this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of a new age have viewers shouting “cowabunga!”? Or were these teenage turtles better off staying secluded in their shells?
