The Strain worked really well last week as we got Eph past the point of resisting what was really going on and that was rather understandable. This is one of those surreal kinds of situations when it happens that a lot of people are going to resist the unbelievable even if it is the most logical choice. I also liked that we got a good flare out between Jim and the others and that Nora isn’t going all in with what Eph is doing, especially with Setrakian now, as they’ve seen some bad stuff once they made it to Emma’s house and grappled with the spawn that has been left there. There’s a lot of irons in the fire across the board here and following all of them makes for a lot of fun since each plays a little differently.
Ashley Madison-Sex Lies and Scandal Review: The documentary refuses to take a stand on whether or not it wants us to feel bad for cheaters, infuriating viewers with its wishy washy attitude.
Outer Range Season 2 Review: This season is as insane and slow as the last part and doesn't attempt to answer any questions, while adding on to those of the last one.
Monster Review: While this film delivers elements of horror and thriller, they're only sporadically effective, leaving the overall experience falling short of expectations.
