First off, sorry this review is going up a week after this Blu-ray was released - First attending and then recovering from Comic-Con led to its delay.
I’ve written plenty about Twin Peaks before, including several years ago when I reviewed the "Gold Box" DVD collection for the series, but suffice to say, I stand by all my previous statements on the show's brilliance. Twin Peaks is an incredibly memorable and important part of TV history – even if you think the show went off the rails in Season 2, it undeniably had already established itself as something so daring and different, in the process changing all the rules for just how far outside the box you could go with TV drama.
