From Deadline:
Having pushed the next installment of its Spider-Man franchise out of 2016 and into 2018, Sony Pictures is doing a top-to-bottom revamp of its most important property, insiders say. And that includes a female superhero movie which is being eyed for a 2017 release date, Deadline has learned.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Damn, these studios just DO NOT want to let go of these Marvel characters.
Can anyone help me confirm Sony does indeed have Spider-Woman rights? According to what I find, she has no relation to Spider-Man at all (which makes sense really considering her role and powers), so does that mean Marvel has rights? Sony only has rights to the Spider-Man universe, which doesn't include Spider-Woman, however the name could be related enough to justify it.
