The Strain, over the course of the first two episodes, has provided a lot of plots to work with, some cringe moments where you wish they didn’t act quite so stupidly, and a lot of tension as you see how difficult it is to truly contain an outbreak. Especially when the outbreak is like this in that it managed to get a few people past the quarantine while others just forced their way out after basically being revived as thralls of some sort to the master in the box.
