From Cinelinx:
We've know that The Last of Us is being turned into a movie, with Sam Raimi guiding the film as a producer, but that's about all we know. Today at SDCC, Sam Raimi took the stage to talk about the upcoming film along with the game and screenwriter for it, Neil Druckmann. One of the more interesting tidbits is that Maisie Williams had been approached for a lead role.
Nekki has announced that the forthcoming gun fu game, SPINE, will receive a movie adaptation to expand the franchise.
Anthracite Review: This Netflix thriller makes us go down several engaging roads and the twists and turns are delicious.
Stolen Review: Elle Márjá Eira makes an attempt at creating a story revolving Sámi people of Sweden.
He could do it. The only thing I worry about, is the serious level of the film. He can do some great horror stuff (which you need with the clickers), and has good action, but often times he doesn't take his plots serious enough.
Well poo. Apparently there was miscommunication in getting the news to me from the panel. He denies he's directing the film, but still cool about Maisie!
I would prefer a Last Of Us tv series instead, but that would cost too much since the environment would have to look like I Am Legend.
Maisie Williams is perfect Ellie, Andrew Lincoln would also be perfect for Joel role
