‘Exodus: Gods And Kings’ Trailer: Ridley Scott’s Latest Features Christian Bale as Moses

The first teaser trailer for Ridley Scott‘s new film, Exodus: Gods And Kings, has just been released. The film stars Christian Bale as Moses and Joel Edgerton as Pharaoh Ramses, and “tetells the biblical story of Moses, who, according to the book of Exodus, suffered near death during infancy, was adopted into the Egyptian royal family, defied the Pharoah, freed the Hebrews and parted the Red Sea.”

For the record............... other than defy the pharaoh, Moses did none of that. God did.

I wonder if they will have him stuttering in this movie as Moses had a speech impediment. But once again, I love it how the ancient world, no matter where it's at, is full of Europeans.

As much as I love Ridley Scott's films, and upon watching the trailer looks like good entertainment, Im still disappointed at the constant white-washing of films.

You never cast a black man for a real life white portrayal, nor do you cast a white man for a real life black portrayal. You risk being called Racist from the heavens to the earth, so why is it okay for middle easterners to be white?

Ancient Egypt was black no matter how anybody try to spin it. Hollywood been doing a lot of white washing lately.

Joel Edgerton looks cool as Ramses. I'm not quite sold on Christian Bale in this role yet though.
