Collider:
We’re at the halfway point of 2014, and the year has a new worldwide box office champion—for now. Fox’s X-Men: Days of Future Past has eclipsed Captain America: The Winter Soldier at the worldwide box office to become the highest grossing film of the year thus far with $712.7 million. That solidifies the film as the highest grossing X-Men movie yet, demolishing the previous record of $459.4 million held by X-Men: The Last Stand. Its worldwide total just barely surpasses that of the Captain America sequel, which closed out with $711.2 million. Stateside, the Marvel pic is still tops with $257.2 million, followed by The LEGO Movie at #2 with $256.8 million and then X-Men at #3 with $223.4 million.
Hit the jump to get a look at the current worldwide Top 10 and for my prediction as to which film will end up the victor when 2014 comes to a close.
You go into a movie thinking the main character is the good guy and then BAM–you had it all wrong.
MAI Review (2024): Phuong Anh Dao and Tran Thanh sparkle the brighest in this overdramatic movie.
One of 2023's biggest and dumbest creature features is making waves right now on streaming around the world.
This doesn't surprise me at all but now I have to go see it again because I was sick when we went to see it and I have no clue what it was like.
