Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Renewed; Agent Carter Picked Up

CBM

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s numbers have been steady for a while now, while fans have been loving it since the Captain America: The Winter Soldier tie-in. Well, it's got a second season, and it won't be alone as the Hayley Atwell led Agent Carter has also been picked up by ABC!

I think I can understand Agents of Shield, but I really have no idea what's up with even bothering to do an Agent Carter show. it would have to take place in either a pre WWII era or during the cold war but she'd still have to be much older than she was in Captain America.

I'd rather see Agent Carter as it would show you when she set SHIELD up which would be interesting to see, I'd rather see that then Agents of Shield

I honestly can't believe Agents of SHIELD has been picked up for another series, it's pretty bad when some other gets shows which are good don't get renewed. Honestly I'm gutted, they have such a low audience and they bring in villains to the show and try to connect it to the films when not everyone is watching it.

The characters are horrible and have no personality to them except for Coulson and Agent Maria Hill (who only guest stars the odd time), two characters I felt should of been the only main stars of the show like Scully and Mulder

<SPOILERS>

If you've seen The Winter Soldier then SHIELD is gone, which makes the show kind of pointless now. Seeing how SHIELD was set up by Carter would be better then a one where it's disbanded.

For once I actually agree with you. SHIELD has picked up considerably since it began, and it's by no means a bad show. But yeah, the ratings are down pretty low. I guess ABC was willing to take another gamble on another season.

In truth, I have very little time to watch all these TV shows when they air. I watched I think the first 2 episodes and I knew that it wasn't something that captivated immediately. If it hots Netflix I'll check out a few more.

Do you do anything but post comments about how much you hate.. well, pretty much every series in existence? Perhaps you should stop watching TV?

If you don't like SHIELD, that's fine. Just stop watching and wasting your time, and then complaining that they renew the show. The renewal shows that there's still plenty of people that do like the show.

SHIELD is gone but it will return in some form or the other. Fury is still alive, and he's one person who knows the importance of having such an organization around.

The show from now on will work to the build up of a new SHIELD. You can't have a TV show called Agent's of SHIELD if there's no plan to reinstate SHIELD.

It's going to take place after WW2 and will deal with how SHIELD began. They've already said this.

I happen to like Agents of SHIELD. I think the stories are good and creative and I'm glad they renewed it. It was slow getting started but they have improved a lot throughout the season.

Great to see SHIELD picked up again, it's gotten really good since the latest Captain America film.

Even quite dark in places which surprised me.

Back in Action Review: All in all, this movie is a somewhat disappointingly missed opportunity that never really capitalises on its potential, leaving the viewer with little to remember when the credits roll.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Reviw | RPadTV Episode 88

The latest Star Wars live-action series has wrapped up and the nerds at RPadTV are here to have a nerdy discussion about Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. Joining host Raymond Padilla are videogame journalist Paul Semel and Turtle Beach’s MacLean Marshall. The three will discuss what they liked and didn’t like about Star Wars: Skeleton Crew in a review video full of treasure, whimsy, and mayhem (or maybe two of those things).

Discussion topics include what the three thought about the mystery of At Attin, comparisons to The Goonies, how the show fits in with other Star Wars projects, the child actors, Jude Law’s mysterious character, and why the show resonates with some fans while leaving others flat.
