The CW have picked up Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti’s Arrow spinoff The Flash to series.The series will presumably get an initial 13-episode order with the possibility of picking up a back nine if the first half of the season is a success (as did Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in their first seasons).
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
Why do they always order series even though they don't know what the reception is going to be like. FOX did the same to Gotham. Wouldn't it be cheaper to make 8 - 10 episodes then if it's doing ok then pick it up for a full series.
It has to do with budget allocations. Hollywood not unlike the government has to spend the money that each studio division is allocated for new programming or movies from the corporate heads for each fiscal yr.. If you don't spend it you don't get it next yr.
