Zac Efron Says There's "Irons In The Fire" Regarding A Star Wars Role

CBM

Efron has already confirmed that he (along with 80% of the rest of the actors under 30 in Hollywood) has read for a part in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII, but it seems even this close to the movie's shoot date he may still be in with a chance of nabbing a role.

Please God if your there...or Allah, Buddha, Zeus, Odin, Chester Cheetah, do not make Zac Efron a part of the next Star Wars trilogy. If they did it would just be so obvious that Disney are just casting him because of the young audience he pulled in with his crappy musical films.

It's worrying because so many young actors today are not really that great or are too cheesy to watch.

I think you saw what I did there with the image. =P

Looks like we're safe...No Efron ...for now

LOL, I'm not a fan but you guys have no valid reason to hate on him. Like come the fuck on, there are so many celebrities who started at Disney. I bet the only movie you saw him in was Highschool Musical, am I right?

"Oh he was in Highschool musical? let's hate on him because I hate Highschool Musical and only my opinion is valid."

Oh dear guess I hit a nerve....Zac Efron fan girl by any chance?

He's just a bad actor and wouldnt suit this kind of film

Theres been more singers who started at Disney then actors but Disney used to be fantastic at one time when they didn't dumb down half their shows of the Disney channel and make it cheesy as hell.

So is it not Disney at fault since they wrote his character and the movie or is it his? And obviously there is a good reason J.J. Abrams chooses Efron if he does.

Half the stuff you spew from your mouth is full of shit rofl.

I agree with you. Efron seems to be a pretty good actor. Maybe it's cause he started at Disney that these guys don't like him?
