Gina Carano is one of the actresses who should of been Wonder Woman.

I still can't get over, skinny mini, Gal Gadot

I mean Gina Carano might not be the best actress in the world but neither is Gal Gadot. Least Gina was in Haywire, what's Gal been in apart from the Fast and Furious films which require no acting skills at all.

RetrospectRealm3652d ago (Edited 3652d ago )

Trust in DC and the filmmakers for once man. MoS was good.

-Foxtrot3652d ago (Edited 3652d ago )

Really...trying to stop someone from commenting and trying to silence them

Get over yourself man, your the type of person who if someone else doesn't share your opinion you can't stand it so you'd rather them stop posting.

It's a commenting site for a reason you know.

"MoS was good"

First of all, where did I say it wasn't, second of all that doesn't mean the rest are going to be good.

Iron Man was good, the third one was a letdown

Spiderman 2 was awesome, Spiderman 3 was crap

X-men 2 was fantastic, the third film wasn't as good

Your logic is flawed.

RetrospectRealm3652d ago

Calm down bro. I"m just saying, all I ever see you comment about is how you don't agree with anything anyone does when it comes to new movie news. Trust in the filmmakers for once.

"First of all, where did I say it wasn't, second of all that doesn't mean the rest are going to be good."

I'm saying MoS was good, why are you so concerned about one casting choice for the sequel? I'm sure the sequel will be just as good as MoS.

My logic isn't flawed, you're just misunderstanding what I'm saying.

-Foxtrot3652d ago (Edited 3652d ago )

LOL

You edited your comment, how low can you go man, come on

Your original comment was

"Stop whining man, MoS was good"

So now you've changed it to make me look bad.....how sad

For this film how can you trust in anything when they seem to be making wrong decision after another. Ben, Gal, Jesse, there's so many better actors out there, then there's the fact they are rushing it to compete with Marvels universe instead of taking it slow

"I"m just saying, all I ever see you comment about is how you don't agree with anything anyone does when it comes to new movie news"

Just because your cherry picking comments, doesn't mean I don't agree with ANYTHING, there just seems to be silly shit going on at the minute within the business that dosen't appeal to me. I mean your saying that to me but your the opposite, if this site posted the worst possible movie news ever, you would still try to defend it some how. I mean every comment I make, I get a reply off you trying to undermine it and make me look like I'm in the wrong, when all it is, is my opinion.

"My logic isn't flawed, you're just misunderstanding what I'm saying."

Urmmmm no, your pretty much saying, MOS was good so the ext film will be good. No misunderstanding here, that's what your basically trying to say and I'm telling you how that kind of logic doesn't work thanks to the examples I posted above.

You keep saying how this is a MOS sequel when it isn't, it's basically a Justice League film, not a MOS sequel. Thats like saying the Avengers 2 is a sequel to Captain America 2 when they each deal with different stories. Avengers 2 is a sequel to the Avengers, Man of Steels sequel will be Man of Steel 2....which this should of been in the first place.

RetrospectRealm3652d ago (Edited 3652d ago )

A little too much to read there. I'd rather read another article of the same length. I'm going to end it here before it gets out of hand. Have a nice day.

Crazay3652d ago (Edited 3652d ago )

I agree with you. I think that Gina Carano would have been the best bet for the role.

Furthermore, I personally think it's an awful shame that instead of going a slow build/simmer in the DCU, they're kinda taking the spotlight off Superman in favor of adding all these other characters to what should be Man of Steel 2. Granted those roles just might be really small cameos but then if they were, why would they be announced as to who they are. Why not let the audience figure it out with a cameo.

DarkBlood3651d ago

Likely because the general casual audience wont know about it either way other then the hardcore fans seeking the tibits :p

DarkBlood3651d ago

Don't look at Gal Gabot as who she was but as who she will be especially since we havent seen her gym transformation.

its not nice thing to write someone off over some films they may not have shine thier best in considering we haven't seen her in other genres I will not personally insult said actress/actors in general over a single film etc etc.

As for the acting skill part of your comment it looks to me as i understand it that your basing the fate of her career/abilities over a single franchise films as if that determines whether she can be in said film of topic at hand that you refuse to give someone a chance to try and broaden thier skills or improve upon it .

You prefer gina because you like her not because you think she has any acting skill and its not entirely about looks fellow friend she is on the same playing field so your preference was just a personalise choice like anyone else yet youll say they are wrong either way from observement.

alas none of our "opinions" are right so well let the studios decide whats the best choice as a whole not a select few.

Crazay3651d ago

I don't hate Gal as a casting choice and I'm happy to let the girl take a kick at the can. Her face has that exotic look to her that I think Wonder Woman needs to have and I've seen what these trainers can do to someone in a very short amount of time.

DarkBlood3651d ago

Oh I know this was a reply to the Fox fellow.

But for you summed it up perfectly with the right training anyone can become badass and tough as long as thier willpower is there so I could give a damn what anyone looks like at this point as I was once skeptical of henry cavill though for reasons I forgot since it no longer matters to me lol

Lord_Sloth3650d ago

YOUR Logic is flawed. You're pointing out crappy MARVEL movies as a reason why a DC movie will suck. At least throw Green Lantern out there.

Porcelain_Chicken3650d ago

I highly disagree with everything you said bud & before you run for the disagree option & slam your caps lock to Kingdom Come let me explain why. I can think of a million reasons why Carano is a terrible choice but i'll just go with the big one you actually pointed out and glorify it for you.

Carano CAN'T ACT PERIOD. I mean, she was cast by Steven Soderbergh, a VERY good director, next to grade friggin A+ talent like Micheal Angarano, Micheal Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Ewan McGregor, and Micheal Fassbender YET still couldn't cut it next to all these stars. Her line were stiff & her face was wooden. Hell Channing Tatum managed to outshine her. Channing TATUM!!!

Meanwhile Gal nabbed the WW role auditioned against god knows how many other women including Olga Kurylenko & fan fave Jamie Alexande. AAAAAAAND was recently cast in John Hillcoat's (a very GREAT director BTW) Triple Nine, alongside Aaron Paul, Kate Winslet, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Norman Reedus, and Woody Harrelson. That's pretty impressive no matter how you cut it. Show's she might have more in her locker than just a pretty face given a half decent script. Can Gal flop in Triple Nine as hard as Gina did in Haywire? Of course. But at least give her a chance. Especially considering Gina Carano already ruined hers.

As for Gal's frame, she's being trained by the guy who trained Spartans & Kryptonians. I'm sure he can whip an Amazonian princess into shape. Jackman was pretty skinny in X1. But with help of a great performance it wasn't even an issue. Snyder is a visual perfectionist. Leonidas, Superman, Rorshach, The Comedian and everyone else he's ever cast have all looked great on-screen. Hell even in Watchmen he didn't shy away from having a nude Dr. Manhattan the entire movie. I'm very sceptical about both Gadot & Eiseberg but Snyder has my full confidence. If he can make Matthew Goode seem intimidating the Gadot & Eiseberg shouldn't be a challenge. Rant over.
