Goonies Director Confirms Film's Sequel

Richard Donner, director of the 1985 classic film 'The Goonies' wants to make the film's sequel with the original's entire cast.

Not sure how I feel about this

I hope they don't do the typical "It will focus on the main characters kids" when they do a sequel so many years later.

Young child actors today aren't as good as the ones we had in the 80s/90s.

I'd rather just see the Goonies back as their older selfs where the film focuses on them.

This was one of my favourite films from my childhood and I still love it now, in fact I only watched a few days ago with my little lad, he loved it.

Not sure about a sequel though, you are right Fox, kids these days just can't act.

The cast should just be entirely different with only references to the original movie as if part of the historical record.

In my opinion it so hard to make a "classic" in Hollywood right now. I'm sure this will be decent, I'm just assuming no matter what they do the fanbase will never let it live up to the original.

Yes please, hopefully it'll be as great as the 1st (in my dreams)...
