Childhood....ruined

the trailer looks great, i have nothing to say about ninja turtle for now. it is just a trailer, not the movie yet so who knows if it is bad or good. the only thing i know is that i am going to definitely watch it.

the looks of the turtles are more than okay, i am more inclined to see more of the fight scenes. i am okay with megan fox, even if it is not a spot on casting it is still okay by the end of the day as long as the story is solid.

i do not like the footsoldier's look, they should look more ninja like. this might or might not be at par with transformers but between the two franchises, i care more about the ninja turtles since i am a solid fan and i just relatively watch transformers.

Changing the origin story was a bad idea. That alone will put fans off, from watching it. We all know, the turtles became mutants by coming into contact with the TGRI Ooze, down in the sewer. That's how it all started. Deviating from that is just a recipe for disaster. Not to mention, if they changed THAT...you gotta ask yourself, what else did they change? Their voices? Their personalities? Shredder isnt even Japanese! He's white, in this movie. Not being racist...but Shredder aka "Oroku Saki" has ALWAYS been Japanese, um...hence his name. Splinter was also Japanese...but I highly doubt he will be in THIS movie. Hell, they probably got Splinter as a black guy, before the transformation. IF...he even get's his transformation. They may decide to leave him as a human, instead of turning him into a rat.

THIS is why people say Bay ruined their childhoold memories of this franchise. Let me take something YOU like...and take a giant DUMP on it...and you tell me if YOU still like it. LOL

EDIT. I just watched the trailer again. Missed something. They wrote it to where SHREDDER created the turtles, in some science experiment...with April's dad. WOW. Oh God...oh God...WHY BAY?! WHYYYYY? LOL

I love this, man, I can't wait for this movie.

Also, I have seen too many complaints about childhoods being ruined with this trailer and I have to ask? Did you forget that the every TMNT movie after the first one was terrible (with the last one, titled "TMNT", being just okay)? Hell, even the games haven't done well since Turtles in Time. I won't comment about the newer cartoon versions since I never watched them.

There have been many iterations of the ninja turtles, so what's so bad about this one? "Mikey looks like Shrek"? So does the Hulk.

Give this new take a chance and check it out first, but let the new kids have their own childhood... with the ninja turtles. It's not always about you.

This look more serious than the previous movie.. Kinda scary TMNT, doesn't look friendly at all.

The part where they're going down the mountain and hit a Hummer is a bit much.

originals hardly used Cg,and it looked far much better.But this trailer looks better than the new TMNT cartoons on nick.

I actually think that they look like Adult Mutant Ninja Turtles and they are too bulky. They are supposed to be slim and nimble, like ninjas, not this massive and bulky like a Gears Of War character, but surprisingly enough, I don't mind and I will see it.

Turtles and explosions! Michael Bay.... what have you done!!!

Bay at his CG best, big explosions, big action, no brains. I remember when he wanted to call them alien turtles. I hope this movie bombs.

stop complaining. all you complainers are going to be the first ones in line when it comes out. what the hell are you expecting Citizen Kane? Its a movie about Ninja Turtles, think about that for a second.

Man i loved the 90's movies hell i watched the original as an ten year old in the cinema ;). Grew up with the cartoon's reading the comic's.

I was thinking this was gonna be a ballz up tbh but minute i saw the turtles i was sold. Even a little rush off childish excitement tbh.

Think I'll be looking forward to this now. Hope its not messed up. Mr Bay has a way off wrecking things -_-.
