Missing You Review: This series has all the dynamics required to make it a good mystery drama: good actors, good story content, and good referencing from a best-selling author. However, it fails to do so due to poor narrative direction, which relies on an absence of direction, underdeveloped characters, and a characteristically poor representation of warmth on the parts.
didn't a Steve Jobs movie just come out?
I can see him in the role quite nicely. I'm just not sure about the film consisting of three long scenes. That seems boring and a bit of a waste. A more detailed movie would be one of the best modern biopics.
I can hear Ashton Kutcher already saying lawsuit inbound for making another Steve Jobs movie. Also maybe Bale will fail at it.
Fantastic choice. Fincher/Bale? These guys could be farting on film and id see it.
Start production already.
Noah Wyle to me was 100% perfect. If you haven't seen pirates of silicon valley you really should. It is a great film depicting the origins of Apple and Microsoft.
Ashton Kutcher was good and I actually enjoyed jOBS. The script seemed a bit more like "jobs is god" than a realistic film but it was enjoyable none the less.
I think Bale will be terrible. Just because he is white, has slightly long hair and a beard doesn't mean he will be a good choice to play Jobs. I can see it being an overacted piece of crap. The script will probably be good but poor acting.
