The Sony sequel remains on track but will need to be tweaked since Ramis had been scheduled to make a cameo appearance along with the other original Ghostbusters, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I wish they had just made this when they had the chance with all of them....if Bill Murray wasn't being such a douche about it
I don't blame Murray for not wanting to return to the franchise, it would be like beating a dead horse at this point, especially after part 2. Murray is the kind of guy who openly criticizes himself for franchise whoring (Garfield anyone?). Harold Ramis basically made an unofficial sequel to this movie in Evolution anyways, and it wasn't very good. Supposedly there was a falling out between Ramis and Murray as well.
Don't want to know about it without Mr Egon Spengler.
I think they should just go a new route now. This compared with Murray not wanting to do it, its time to either just go in a whole new direction or forget it.
The idea of them being in it for nostalgia was great, but losing two of them just doesn't seem worth it. Could still be neat, but might as well just start fresh and lose any link to the old ones.
They need to hand it to Apatow/Sanchez.
