Kol lives! Sort of!
The CW has cast the two leads in Supernatural: Tribes, its planned Supernatural spinoff, and one of the main roles belongs to Nathaniel Buzolic, best known to Vampire Diaries fans as a deceased member of The Originals.
The actor will portray David Hayden, a shapeshifter from one of Chicago's ruling monster families. He's living as a human when we meet him, having given up the supernatural life years prior.
Lucien Laviscount (Episodes, Skins), meanwhile, will take on Ennis Roth, a police academy member whose fiancee is murdered and who therefore aims to hunt down the monsters who rule the Windy City.
Supernatural: Tribes will focus on the underbelly of a fictional Chicago, tracking Hayden and Roth in their missions to take out the city's evil forces.
Both new stars will appear on Supernatural Season 9 Episode 20, which will serve as a backdoor Tribes pilot.

Not sure what to expect with the spinoff but I'll watch the pilot to see what it's going to be like and then decide if I'm going to even watch
