This is the MOST PAINFUL interview we've ever watched -- an L.A. news anchor just mistook Samuel L. Jackson for Laurence Fishburne ... on live TV ... and Sam Jackson completely lost it.
Did you see the one where the News Anchor was talking to Martin Short and brings up his loving marriage to his wife who had died a few years earlier? That was uncomfortable.
thst was an honest mistake but there is no real excuse for that since everyone can really distinguish samuel l jackson from laurence fishburne, before i saw it i thought it was scripted but by looking at their faces you can see how uncomfortable the news anchor and samuel l jackson were at that moment. i hope that news anchor learn from his mistakes.
It was an honest mistake and had it been a white guy it would not have been a big deal. White people literally can not make a mistake when it comes to identity/race or you could be a racist.
You can tell by the look on Jackson's face that he was offended and really was trying to drive home the point that he is implying all black people look alike. Just an honest mistake that turned this guy into an implied racists.
I thought they turned it into a funny moment. It certainly was awkward at the start though.
So awesome. I love it when he does this
Sam brings up a good point...how the hell did he not know who he was and he was the Entertainment segment anchor.
A ****** shark ate me!- Dave Chapelle as Sam Jackson
The news anchor deserved it, there is no excuse for nothing having your facts straight on live television, absoloutly none.
