During his Reddit AMA, Kevin Smith revealed that he’s postponing work on Clerks III in order to make Comes the Krampus.
Comes the Krampus is a horror anthology film that came out of one of Smith’s podcasts on the Smodcast network. Smith was originally planning to work on Clerks III after finishing his first podcast based film, Tusk, but said that he decided to move forward with Comes the Krampus over Clerks III in an attempt to keep trying new things:
