Robert Luketic To Helm Millennium’s ‘The ExpendaBelles;’ Who Should Star?

Robert Luketic has come aboard to direct The ExpendaBelles, the estrogen-powered equivalent of the testosterone-fueled Millennium Films franchise The Expendables. The move re-teams Luketic with his Legally Blonde scribes Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah, who wrote the original screenplay for the female action comedy spinoff. The film will begin shooting this summer and Luketic will soon begin casting the gals.

Jennifer Lawrence is an audience draw, and they had the other Hemsworth brother in Exp 2, so why not?

Also, I agree with your list but why no love for Michelle Rodriguez? She's kick ass.

Kate Beckinsale too.

It shouldn't matter, like the first Expendables it didn't have any young actors in it.

The real fun about the film is that it was all OLD action heroes and I think the same applies here. Having someone like Lawrence it in would look out of place.

The focus should be on the old school action chicks.
