One of them gets the upper hand, and Bruce is about to betray one of his principles by using a gun. The animation in this moment is superb – we see not only guilt, but actual terror and rage in Bruce’s eyes. This is his lowest moment, and if he goes through with shooting the kidnapper, there’s no going back.
