Hear Me Out: Fast & Furious 7 Needs To Kill Off Paul Walker's Character

CB

For six fast-paced films so far, Fast & Furious has been a franchise that's as embedded with themes of loyalty as it is with high-octane action. No matter what happens to Dominic Toretto and his crew--imprisonment, high risk heists, or being sought by the world's brawniest cop--they stick together because that's what family does, for better or worse.

That would be the logical thing to do.

I think it does too. To just simply "retire" someone from the gang just doesn't make much sense to me.

No one leaves because their famous saying is 'you never forget about family' or something like that. So Walker wouldn't just leave them all behind to deal with everything. He just needs to have an unfortunate accident.

I feel that they do not "need" to kill him off, yet it is the obvious choice. BUT, let us not forget that it was revealed that Walker had indeed shot enough scenes for them to be included in the film, meaning that he will still be in the film itself. Now will they kill him off or not, that is a question on its own.

Personally, I feel that killing him in the film would be morally wrong, considering that he did die in a car crash, that would simply be throwing salt into the wound, if you ask me that is.

i think they should just cancel this movie. but we all know its business and they wont wanna lose the millions. what they will lose is the fans after this movie bombs so bad in a sense that a lot of fans might not agree with the way brian is removed.

fast and furious has always been Vin and paul together. look at the second one, without vin, it really showed that something was missing. the 7th one will feel the same.

i honestly am satisfied with how the story of all the characters came full circle at the end of Furious 6. from humble beginnings as small time thieves, to mexican dessert, to the brazilian heist to landing up back where it all started and all free to go.

yes, they have managed to get a stellar cast together who all have great chemistry on screen which rarely happens with such a big crew but the main chemistry between Paul and Vin, the founding lead characters of this franchise, will be missing. that right there, for me, kills this entire movie.

I don't think they should kill of PW's character.

Wasn't his real life brother approached and rumored to be replacing him as a possibility?

I think the story of Brian O'connor should just go on but in respect for PW only up to the part where there is no scenes left shot of him.. the screen should then fade to black and have on screen text or some kind of tribute to PW telling it and how it is with his RL death. Then his brother will be introduced and will then continue his legacy... then the movie resumes from that point with the new actor.

IMO it is much more respectful this way than cancelling the movie or killing him off... I'm sure the fans would understand and it would be a first for it.. even if its is a disruption overall to the movie... but then again with PW death it already is..
