Batman Vs. Superman: Bryan Cranston As Lex Luthor Rumor Reignites

Earlier this year, a big rumor surfaced online that Bryan Cranston had been cast as Lex Luthor in Batman Vs. Superman. Several major news outlets picked up the rumor and reported the rumor as a done deal. However, when no official announcement ever came from Warner Bros. after Breaking Bad ended, the rumor was pretty much labeled by everyone as false.

Billy Zane is the best choice to play Lex Luthor.

Cranston is too old, and Denzel is black.

Billy Zane's permanent eye-liner look isn't all that intimidating though. :P

I only want this if it's a good movie, it was sad enough seeing him in Total Recall

Well, first off...

Bryan Cranston is a brilliant actor. No matter what role he plays or what movies he does, in the future...he will always be known as Mr. White. LOL. He certaintly has the skillset to play Lex Luthor and he'd definitely make a better Lex than Kevin Spacey did, for sure. I dont think he's too old to play Lex anymore than I think Ben Affleck is wrong for Batman. Givin the right script, right director, right direction...Cranston will do just fine as Lex. Thats just my opinion, tho.

Wasn't Spaceys fault. Spacey was playing Hackman who was playing a very terrible and inaccurate Lex. But I agree Cranston is friggin amazing. Loved him since the MiTM days xD

IMO he'd make an excellent Lex Luthor!

Awwwwww i wanted him as Commisioner James Gordon Dx He'd be a great Gordon to Affleck's Batman. Though I will admit, he'll make a great Lex.
