Instead of switching between multiple shows and progressing slowly through each, users are charging through entire seasons in marathon viewing sessions. As reported by the Wall Street Journal: “”Our viewing data shows that the majority of streamers would actually prefer to have a whole season of a show available to watch at their own pace,” Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s chief content officer, said.
