The Governor met his demise in the midseason finale of The Walking Dead through a combination of Michonne’s sword, Lilly’s gun, and his own warped thirst for power and revenge. Once he stopped stumbling around like a homeless hippie and got his evil, power-hungry mojo back, the Governor doomed himself and now we won’t have to look at his sorry face again. (Blame Lilly for that, for had she not shot him in the head, we at least had the possibility of seeing him come back as the first ever eye-patched pirate zombie, which would be only, like, the raddest thing ever. Yes, even radder than the baseball player and Hare Krishna zombies from the original Dawn of the Dead.)
The Doomsday Cult of Antares De La Luz Review: The documentary explores how the cult members were coerced in the group and made accomplice of heinous crimes.
Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
I don;t think we're going to see him until 2nd half or the very end of next season. The problem with the show is they seem to be moving very quickly to the point where they'll be totally caught up to the comics.
Honestly I just stopped my subscription to the comics and will wait for graphic novels.
Comic spoilers
They get to Neegan and it basically just ends up doing everything the Governor did, except its worse since Neegan is a lunatic with no heart.
I liked everything in the middle of that, the struggle they had and really bad things that occurred. Then they get to Neegan and it felt like a repeat. Basically Kirkman decided to bring the governor back and actually make him ruthless. After 115 it was intense, but overall I just want something new to happen.
All I'm saying is the way the Governor was heading, I was really hoping Kirkman would just make him do that instead of finding another villain. They had a great actor, and the setup was perfect, they could have easily built his empire up over two season and lead him to be Neegan.
It really needs some space between the governor and negan because it would really feel the same and make him less threatening. It would be nice for them to stretch out the storyline of the cannibals as well as them finding a new community and makes some character build up or better yet make a completely new storyline that is not based in the comics before introducing negan.
