The movie more than makes up for the first film. Entertaining us throughout film. The 3D scenes in IMAX along with the 48fps is excellent. It’s a visual treat for every fantasy film fan. Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins reminds you why he is the perfect choice. One disappointment though: after all the hype, Benedict Cumberbatch’s voice of Smaug is unrecognizable. With the layering and the distortion created using advanced technology, we almost feel cheated.
